Rachel Crisler
i4J Project Lead
Rachel is the Project Lead at i4J, focusing on launching i4J’s Housing Stability Legal Advocate (HSLA) Initiative. Rachel became involved with i4J in 2021 as a student co-creator of the HSLA initiative and has also contributed to other i4J projects. She earned her J.D. from the University of Arizona’s James E. Rogers College of Law in May 2023. Rachel also holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Houston, with a specialty in court administration. Prior to law school, Rachel worked as a court coordinator in Texas, where she daily observed the barriers preventing people from accessing the courts and from achieving their desired legal outcomes. This experience, and her limited ability to address them, led Rachel to pursue a legal education so she could make a more meaningful impact on the accessibility of the law. Before discovering a passion for the law, Rachel earned a BA in music, with an emphasis in flute performance.
